It was a night of explosive drama on TV Tuesday night, with Channel Seven’s Bride and Prejudice: The Forbidden Weddings coming out on top in the ratings. 

The fiery episode saw Izzy Vesey call off her non-monogamous marriage fiancé Simon De Bono.

According to data from OzTam, the dramatic relationship reality show drew in an audience of 653,000.

The 46-year-old launched into a defensive mode telling producers, ‘I’m done. I’m not going to be told off like a little girl. Are you kidding me? No. I’m not going to do this.’

After storming out of the studio, she returned to the set calmer, and apologised, ‘I’m actually angry at myself more than Matt that I couldn’t control my feelings. So you know, I need to really evaluate the way I work.’ 

Despite poor ratings Channel Nine are unlikely to axe the show after production company Endemol Shine Australia sold the reality show format to the ABC network in the US earlier this year, according to TV Tonight.
