‘I think whenever you’re in the public eye (trolling) is ongoing, but honestly, I’m at the point now where it is quite funny,’ he told the publication.

Jack explained that it was important for him to just be honest about the work.

‘The Australian public don’t like it when you hide things, especially stuff like that (cosmetic work); they see through it.

‘Honestly, it was the best thing for me to just be open about it.’

Jack has completely transformed his appearance with cosmetic procedures since winning Australia’s Got Talent in 2011.

Speaking on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, he revealed he opted to get lip fillers due to his insecurity about his thin pout.

‘I had an insecurity with my lips and I had the opportunity to not be insecure anymore and I did that and I’m happy,’ he said.

‘I’ve had filler done [in my lips],’ he said, when asked about the changes he’s made to his face.

Jack added that this non-surgical procedure has allowed him to finally feel happy about the way he looks. ‘I think one of the big reasons I stopped being in the public eye was because I put a lot of pressure on myself,’ he said.

‘And over the years I’ve experimented with different things and I’ve had to get to a place where I’m finally happy with myself.’

‘I love myself, I have self worth and I’m grateful I was able to get to that place,’ he added.

‘A lot of people don’t and they’re actually the one’s saying those nasty things [about my face] online.’

In an interview with 9Honey in May, Jack said he ignores unkind comments about his changing appearance.

‘People are always gonna say what they’re gonna say,’ he told the website.

‘I’ve dealt with it before and I’ve grown a thick skin, and I know that there’s lots of people that love to hate. I can’t do anything about that.

‘All I’m here to do is share my story and sing, and all the rest is white noise.’
