Jackie ‘O’ Henderson celebrates her novelty song Honey Money hitting number one on the charts

It was a song that was originally created by radio star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson as a joke.

But the 43-year-old had the last laugh on Thursday when her song hit number one on the charts.

It took less than two days for the single to reach the coveted top spot after Jackie released it on Tuesday.

Tearing up the charts! On Thursday, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson (pictured) celebrated her novelty song Honey Money hitting number one by popping champagne bottles and dancing on tables with Beau Ryan

Jackie and her KIIS FM colleagues wasted no time in celebrating the achievement, and in footage posted to the official Instagram account they could be seen dancing to the tune.

In the videos, a group of KIIS FM staff cheered and poured a triumphant Jackie a glass of champagne.

‘Honey Money just went number 1,’ the video was captioned.

The celebrations then became increasingly raucous, with Beau Ryan – who is filling in for an absent Kyle Sandilands – climbing on a desk.

He assisted Jackie up to join him and together they joyfully danced on the table in jubilation.

Despite the song being a novelty, it is all for a good cause, with the proceeds going directly to drought-affected farmers.

At the behest of her Sydney radio co-host, Kyle Sandilands, 47, Jackie ‘O’ had written and recorded the single with audio engineer, Kian Oliver.

‘As a kid I did a lot of singing and dancing. I’ve been talking about recording a song on air for ages,’ Jackie previously explained.

‘When Kyle challenged me, Kian one of our producers and I actually did it,’
