Jacob Elordi Looks remarkably similar to Elvis Presley on the set of the Priscilla Presley biopic

Jacob Elordi transformed into the music legend Elvis Presley on the set of Sofia Coppola’s biopic Priscilla in Toronto, Canada on Monday.

The 25-year-old Australian actor was seen in several different costumes between scenes looking remarkably similar to the King of Rock and Roll.

He sported a coiffed pompadour hairdo and was seen in a white shirt before wearing a vibrant orange, yellow and green sweater as he listened to his headphones.

Jacob then donned a bluish-grey sweater shirt for a different scene.

Last week, the Euphoria actor was spotted on set for the first time alongside Cailee Spaeny as they transformed into Elvis and his wife Priscilla.

According to Deadline, Coppola met with several performers before selecting Elordi as the movie’s lead.

It was also reported that Spaeny was always the director’s first choice to play Priscilla.

The movie Jacob is filming is based on the biography Elvis And Me, which was originally published in 1985. 

The book became a New York Times bestseller upon its release and also sold well internationally.

Elvis and Priscilla met for the first time in Germany in 1959 when he was 24 and serving in the army and she was just 14.

After he returned home to the US, they kept in touch via phone calls – before she eventually convinced her parents to let her move to Memphis, Tennessee full-time to be with him in 1963.

Priscilla spent eight years in a relationship with Elvis before they wed in a Las Vegas ceremony in 1967. 

The pair welcomed one daughter – Lisa Marie, now 54 – during their marriage.

They divorced in 1973 over the Blue Suede Shoes hitmaker’s infidelities – with Elvis tragically dying just four years later aged 42 from a heart attack.

The Euphoria actor was also joined by his then-girlfriend, Kaia Gerber, who went as Priscilla that year.

The former couple eventually separated, and she later began seeing Austin Butler, who starred in the recently-released and much-celebrated biopic Elvis. 

The Baz Luhrmann-directed feature made its debut at the most recent Cannes Film Festival, which took place in May.

The movie, which also starred Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker, later had its wide debut in the United States this past June.

The biopic was an immediate hit with critics and currently holds a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie was also successful with audiences and grossed just over $280 million, according to Box Office Mojo.
