Jacob Elordi has weighed in on a viral trend inspired by his own fashion choices.
The Australian actor, 27, was photographed at a Sydney Airport bookstore last year carrying several books, with one jammed into the pockets of his pants.
The Euphoria star has also been seen sporting a novel from his back pocket at other airports or cafes.
Since then, social media users have mimicked the Saltburn star’s style, attempting to shove their favourite books into the pockets of their jeans and pants.
When Jacob was recently asked about this bizarre trend by an iHeartRadio journalist, he seemed confused.
‘You started an epidemic of men carrying books in their back pockets,’ said the reporter.
‘What are your thoughts on the book in the back pocket? Other guys are doing it because of you,’ she asked.
‘I think people need to get out more, maybe,’ he replied.
