Former Tasmanian senator Jacqui Lambie has been praised for her ‘great sense of humour’ after posting a series of hilarious photos of herself enjoying a dagwood dog.
The politician took to social media to share cheeky photos of herself at an autumn festival on Sunday afternoon.
Ms Lambie, 48, is seen struggling to eat the large fried sausage covered in tomato sauce but she showed off her sense of humour by making light of the unflattering shots.
‘You guys know I like my sausage!’ she said in a Facebook post that has garnered more than 6,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments praising her provocative pictures.

Ms Lambie, who served in the Australian Senate from July 2014 until November 2017, resigned after learning she was a dual British citizen.

She also founded her own party called the Jacqui Lambie Network after splitting from the United Palmer Party.
This is not the first time Ms Lambie has raised a few eyebrows with her cheeky and risque comments.
Shortly after becoming a senator in 2014, she made national headlines when she told Hobart radio personalities her perfect man would have to have ‘heaps of cash and they’ve got to have a package between their legs, let’s be honest.’
