A jaguar at a zoo in Abilene, Texas went wild when a little girl showed him her stuffed giraffe toy, even trying to grab it through the glass.
The little girl, whose identity is unknown, went to the zoo with her siblings and her mom. When she went to go see the jaguar, the oversized feline was ignoring zoo visitors — so she found a way to get his attention.
Taking out her stuffed animal giraffe toy, she pressed it against the glass for the jaguar to see, sending it into a frenzy.

On September 18, a mother took her three kids to the Abilene Zoological Park and posted a video of one of her daughters teasing the caged animal with her giraffe toy.
Since the mother posted the video on YouTube, it has gone viral with thousands of views.
In the clip, the young girl is seen trying to get the jaguar’s attention. Though he comes up to the glass and seems curious at first, he soon looks off to the side and seems bored with his visitors.
Trying a new tactic to make the jaguar look, the young girl reaches into a red bag on her back and pulls out her plus toy — and the jaguar immediately reacts, trying to grab it through the glass.
Playing around: She waved the toy in front of the jaguar’s face and the animal kept its full attention on it
Scary: At first the jaguar seemed to be just playing and having fun as he scratched the glass at the little toy
The jaguar stands on two legs, tapping his front paws on the glass in what looks like an attempt to take the toy. He stands higher moving from side to side to follow the girl.
The wild animal is seen scratching at the glass and trying to bite it, showing his enormous fangs. At one point he even sticks his tongue out to try to lick the toy or grab it with his mouth.
Eventually getting frustrated after chasing the toy back and forth, the jaguar presses himself against the glass and just starts scratching at the barrier as if he was going to pounce on the little girl and her stuffed toy.

Hungry: At one point, the jaguar even tried to bite the toy and the little girl through the glass, baring his giant fangs
The girl’s mother shared what happened at the family outing when she posted the video, writing, ‘The kids had off of school, and the weather was perfect, so I thought that I would take them to the zoo.
‘There were hardly any other people there and the jaguar was acting particularly frisky, as she usually is at that time of day,’ she went on. ‘As the kids’ mother, it was really hard for me to trust in the glass protecting them, but I also knew it would be a moment that they would never forget.
‘Because it seemed like a rare occurrence at the time, I began taking a video. Even more surprising to me was the way that the jaguar responded to my daughter’s toy.
‘The kids had a blast with the event, but I am not sure I that I would let them play with the jaguar again.’
