Jake Bloom dead at 81: Legendary Hollywood attorney to A-listers including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Johnny Depp, and Nicolas Cage passes away of natural causes

The Tinseltown lawyer died of natural causes in Sun Valley, Idaho on Thursday his wife Ruth confirmed.
In addition to Schwarzenegger and Depp, he also represented Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallon, Jason Statham, Jackie Chan and Jason Patric.
He was a founding partner of Bloom, Hergott LLP which is the largest and most successful entertainment law firm in Hollywood history.

The two began the company in 1970 and at its very peak employed more than 30 attorneys which made for one of the most impressive stables of high-profile clients which had ever been assembled.
The company’s very impressive roster included a who’s who of A-list producers including Martin Scorsese, Rob Cohen, and Brad Bird.
They also represented producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Lorenzo di Bonaventura.
Bloom earned the most respect and admiration for his representation of the biggest personalities on both the big and small screens.
After Bloom and Hergott retired the two firms spun off with lawyers to Bloom Hergott: Brecheen Feldman Breimer Silver & Thompson, and Goodman, Schenkman, which later merged with Stone Genow.
