He’s had an impressive 2017, losing four stone before making a successful comeback to TOWIE and enjoying a stint on Celebs Go Dating.
And James Argent, 29, opened up about his year of weight loss, surgery and former flames on Loose Women on Thursday.
The TOWIE star, known as Arg, revealed he got a nose job as his features stood out more after he slimmed down, and opened up about his relationship with exes Lydia Bright and Gemma Collins.

Speaking to panelists Andrea Mclean, Linda Robson, James Argent, Stacey Solomon and Kaye Adams, Arg said of his surgery: ‘I didn’t want to change my face, I wanted it to be subtle. I wanted it to be natural and that’s how it has come out.
‘I was a lot bigger before and my features didn’t stand out so much, but when I lost weight, my features stood out – there was a big bump and i wanted it straightened out.
And opening up about the pressure of appearing on TV, he added: ‘There is pressure to look a certain way – there’s a lot of good-looking fellas on the show, but I’m not trying to be in competition with them’.

Arg has been at the centre of rumours claiming he is reuniting with Gemma.
The pair’s relationship has been tense since Gemma revealed she tried to ‘trap’ James into getting her pregnant when they had steamy sex in Marbella last year.
But the reality star insisted just loves her ‘as a friend’, and went on to say: ‘I love her to bits as a friend but she is a bit of a character and she likes a bit of attention and you never know what’s real or whether she’s being a drama queen.
‘I wanted to come back to TOWIE and ease myself in just to have time with the lads, but I was thrown straight into a scene with Gemma crying.’

‘Lydia’s not on the show anymore, we’ve kept in contact- we send the odd text message here and there. I popped into her mums the other day for a cup of tea, we’ve become friends.
‘Lydia was my first love and my only love thus far, we were together on/off for eight years, it’s nice now that we can talk and be friends, but that’s all it is,’ he concluded.

‘I haven’t looked back since going to rehab earlier this year and have lost nearly four stone now,’ he said of his weight loss
Speaking about his weight loss, he revealed he’s managed to keep his healthy lifestyle going a diet overhaul.
‘I was in Thailand a few months ago, it was a rehab centre and I ended up extending it to three months because I wanted to get sorted once and for all.
‘I haven’t looked back since and have lost nearly four stone now.’

The Essex-native also admitted he’s chuffed with former TOWIE co-star Mark Wright’s success, who has relocated to LA after winning a spot as an Extra presenter.
‘There isn’t a week that hasn’t gone by where me and Mark don’t have a catch up, I’m so proud, he’s smashing it out there, he’s a credible presenter in his own right now, he’s absolutely smashed it.
‘I’m really proud- I haven’t had a chance to go and see him but I will do,’ he added.
