James Corden shares video of Prince Harry dropping by to watch the Late Late Show

James Corden has shared a video revealing a very unlikely guest who stopped by to watch the taping of the final ever episode of The Late Late Show.

The comedian, 44, bid farewell to his CBS talk show and ditched Hollywood last month to move back to the UK with his wife Julia Carey and their three children.

Now, he has shared a behind the scenes video documenting how they filmed the final ever episode of the Late Late Show.

The video, shared to the Late Late Show’s YouTube, gave an insight into their last day of filming, from a look into the producing studio to usually off-camera moments.

And in one fleeting moment, none other than Prince Harry could be seen stopping by the studio to watch the final episode being filmed.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, was seen sharing a brief exchange with the show’s executive producer Ben Winston as he watched the taping of the episode.

He could be seen handing Ben, 41, a beverage while he was hard at work, while the other producers looked very surprised by his appearance.

Ben could be heard saying: ‘Brilliant, thank you,’ as Harry patted him on the back and watched James filming the show from the recording booth.

A caption alongside the very short clip revealed that Harry had made the visit to the set for the final day of filming as a ‘surprise’.

Other moments in the behind the scenes video saw James chatting to guests Harry Styles and Will Ferrell while the producers laughed at the content from the booth.

James was also seen tearfully thanking some of his crew as he sat in his office surrounded by cards and gifts as they emotionally bid farewell to the chat show.

Prince Harry previously appeared on The Late Late Show alongside host James back in 2021, with the segment showing the pair spending the afternoon together.

His appearance on the show came shortly after his move to Los Angeles with his wife Meghan Markle after they stepped back from their senior royal duties.

And James and Harry have remained friends ever since as James stopped in to visit Harry and his wife Meghan while on a visit back stateside earlier this week.

He said: ‘I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for Harry, and anyone who has been around him and spent time with him would feel exactly the same way.

‘I think he is a devoted and loving husband and father and I think what they have done [in turning away from royal life] is incredibly brave and I’ll always be in their corner.’
