The businessman was spotted strolling through Holmby Park near the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, looking noticeably trimmer than when he was last seen in public.
He and a male companion went for a stroll around the park before returning to a nearby home.
The casino mogul dressed down in a navy blue t-shirt and matching fleece tracksuit pants, shading his eyes with tinted black sunglasses for the occasion.
Packer underwent lap band surgery in 2011 and UCLA has a world-renowned obesity treatment centre, but it’s unclear if Mr Packer is a patient there.

Mr Packer lost 35kg in 2011 after undergoing his first procedure, which involved fitting an adjustable band to the top of his stomach.
But by the end of 2016, following his messy break-up with pop star fiancée Mariah Carey, Mr Packer tipped the scales at 130kg.
He has since publicly praised his girlfriend, Canadian-born socialite Kylie Lim, for helping him through dark times.
Packer and Ms Lim reunited with his ex-wife Jodhi Meares for her 48th birthday in Aspen, Colorado, last month.

In the six weeks since photos of the trio’s Aspen trip surfaced, Mr Packer appears to have dropped some weight and lost the device.
He appeared in good spirits as he strolled through the picturesque park.
Mr Packer splits his time between Los Angeles and Aspen, Colorado, and plans to continue to live in the United States to be close to his ex-wife Erica and children.
