Former footballer Jamie Redknapp and singer Louise Redknapp have reached an agreement over ‘financial arrangements’ following divorce proceedings, a family court judge has been told.
Judge Sarah Gibbons approved a settlement at a hearing in the Central Family Court in London on Friday. Lawyers announced the settlement to the judge.
Neither Jamie, 45, a former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder, nor Louise, 43, a founding member of the band Eternal who reached the final of the BBC’s 2016 Strictly Come Dancing show, were at the hearing.

Another judge had drawn the Redknapps’ 19-year marriage to a close last year.
Judge Ian Mulkis granted a divorce decree at a hearing in the Central Family Court in London on December 29 in just 25 seconds.
Paperwork showed Mrs Redknapp had filed for divorce and claimed the marriage had irretrievably broken down because of Mr Redknapp’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’.
Mr Redknapp had not mounted any defence to his wife’s divorce application.
Judge Mulkis held that Mr Redknapp had behaved in such a way that Mrs Redknapp could not ‘reasonably be expected’ to live with him and concluded the marriage had ‘broken down irretrievably’.
Secrecy: Reports have claimed detailed divorce papers referring to Jamie and ex-wife Louise’s divorce are being kept private, despite usually being made public
Louise Nurding had married Mr Redknapp on a luxury yacht in Bermuda in 1998.
Mr Redknapp’s father Harry, a former Tottenham manager and ex-West Ham winger, was among guests.
The couple’s divorce papers have been kept secret, despite such documents usually being made public.
According to The Sun at the time, a judge has ‘blocked the release of court papers’ referring to the former couple’s divorce and no reasons have been given.
The publication has claimed that the documents that are being kept private contain detailed reasons behind Jamie and Louise’s divorce that haven’t yet been revealed.
MailOnline contacted representatives for both Jamie and Louise for comment at the time.
According to The Sun, they were told they would need to pay to access the already released court papers, but would not be given access to further papers that included detailed reasons behind the divorce.

Louise soon appeared to follow suit as she was spotted without her wedding ring in her first social media post since their divorce was finalised.

Her participation in the 2016 series of the BBC’s Strictly is widely regarded to have been a factor in their split, but it has been claimed that Jamie fully supported her decision to take part and encouraged her each Saturday night.
Louise previously spoke of loving her ‘amazing’ partner but admitted she felt like a ‘sort of Stepford wife’ who is ‘coming back to who she really is’, crediting Strictly for re-launching her career in the spotlight.
She said: ‘It was only when I agreed to do Strictly Come Dancing that I realised I couldn’t just go back to that. I didn’t want to continue running around after everyone else, and occasionally promoting a yoghurt or doing a little TV presenting job.’
Her Strictly co-star Daisy Lowe was accused by some commentators of ‘leading her astray’ with her wild partying and active social life.

The former Eternal singer, who was a runner-up in last year’s series with professional partner Kevin, said she felt ‘physically sick’ at the prospect of never performing again.
She said: ‘I wanted to sing. I wanted to perform. I wanted to go back to work on a stage in front of an audience. I actually felt physically sick at the idea I’d never have that buzz again, that fulfilment I get from performing. And that is when the s*** hit the fan.’
Back in October, Louise claimed she and Jamie still spoke ‘every day’ and that they were still in love, insisting: ‘He’s an amazing man and we’ve had 20 good years together’, she said. ‘I know he’s trying to understand that I do need to do this.’

‘I have no idea what is going to happen, all I know is that I fought for this, it’s taken everything, but this is something I need to do – for me.’
Following her stint on Strictly, Louise was hit by claims that she was getting too close to her partner Kevin Clifton, whose marriage to fellow dancer Karen Clifton also appears to be in trouble.
There have been reports that Jamie had telephoned Karen to share his concerns over Louise’s close relationship with Kevin and the Strictly professional had warned the sports presenter to ‘keep Louise away’ from her husband.
