While many have cancelled their travel amid the coronavirus outbreak, however, that’s not the case for Jana Kramer and her family.
The 36-year-old took to her Instagram account on Friday where she told her fans that she would still be travelling to Ottawa, Canada, with her husband, Mike Caussin, and kids, Jolie, five, and Jace, 15 months, to film a movie.
Jana was met by both supportive and unsupportive fans but claimed that if she did not go, she could be sued.

‘Canada bound tomorrow for almost a month to film a movie,’ she began.
‘And the whole fam is coming with…..what are good things to do with the kids in Ottawa and Quebec City?!?!?’
She continued: ‘Also I’m aware people are saying stay inside and not leave but I have to film and do my job and I just got off the phone with my producer that everything is a go for no).’
Jana also hopped onto the Instagram Stories to further explain her decision to leave after copping a slew of hate comments.
‘So for all the hate that I’m getting right now, number one, I’m not just going on vacation, I’m going to film a movie.’
‘I understand other productions have shut down, but where I’m going, apparently, there’s no cases and where we’re filming, everything’s fine.’
She continued to explain that the production company was taking the threat of coronavirus seriously and would be ‘doing mandatory fever checks and everything else.’

And she added: ‘I also know if I don’t show up, I could get sued. Also, I’m listening to people that tell me what is safe and they’re not going to put me and my family at risk. So I’m going.’
‘I want you to know that I’m taking this very seriously. I really am, but I also can’t just not go out of fear and out of ‘what if I get it?’
Jana added that at the current moment, she and her family were all healthy and where they were jetting off to actually had less cases than back in the United States.
