Jane Seymour looked sensational as she posed for photos at Christy Cashman book launch this week in Boston.

The actress, 72, defied her age in a figure-hugging halterneck dress that fell elegantly to her knee.

She elevated her frame with a towering pair of nude heels and layered over a semi-sheer patterned shawl.

Posing for photos at The Harvard Book Store, Jane flashed a big smile while playfully twirling.

Earlier this year, the former Bond girl revealed the secrets to her age-defying looks.

Apparently, it’s all down to a lighting technique she’s developed which the Hollywood star refers to as ‘Jane’s igloo’.

‘Nobody else needs one because they’re under 30,’ she explained. ‘Basically, the minute you take the top light off me I don’t have bags under my eyes.

‘If you have top light, my eyes become very baggy. So, I need something straight at me.’

Speaking to Definition magazine, the London-born actress, well remembered for her role as Solitaire in 007 film Live And Let Die, added: ‘Mercifully, I can take a lot of light.

‘I’ve done so many films where I understand the light for me, I’m also an artist and like to do photography as well, so I understand what makes good and bad light for myself – what will and won’t work. I never have to ask, though. They figure it out, usually on the first day.’

The actress rose to fame as Bond girl Solitaire in the 1973 film Live and Let Die, alongside Roger Moore as the MI5 agent, before taking the US by storm and starring in multiple films and TV shows including Dr Quinn Medicine Woman.

The UK native is typically glamorous, but has gone rogue for her role in Dublin-based mystery Harry Wilde, in which she plays the eponymous professor turned private investigator character.

The first series was released in 2021 and has since been renewed for a second and third following its success.

During the show’s first season Jane fell on set and suffered a hairline fracture to her kneecap.

She previously explained she ‘fell pretty badly’ and proudly added that she still managed to ‘finish the scene’ and hasn’t missed a ‘minute of work’ since.

Jane captioned the Instagram video, which was shot from her trailer on set, with: ‘I thought I’d break the news to you all, I fell pretty badly on set about a week ago. [injured emoji].

‘I’ve got lots of hairline fractures on my kneecap. Got lucky comparatively! In spite of it, I managed to finish the scene and work all week… trying not to hobble. [crying emoji] This is acting! #HarryWild @acorn_tv.’
