Jarrod Woodgate breaks his silence on shock split from Keira Maguire

Jarrod Woodgate has been pictured for the first time following his shock split from Keira Maguire.

On Monday, the 32-year-old cut a low profile in a T-shirt, jeans, cap and sunglasses, as he emerged from pal Chris Kenny’s house in Melbourne.

The reality TV star told a photographer that Keira is still living in the family home in Brighton.

Jarrod sported a white T-shirt, teamed with indigo slim-fit jeans and coordinating Nike high-top sneakers.

The vineyard manager kept warm with a black zip-up jacket left undone, and concealed his gaze behind a black cap and tinted sunglasses.

Emerging from his friend Chris Kenny’s abode, Jarrod engaged in conversation on the phone before heading to a local pub.

Jarrod told a photographer that he’s had to resort to staying at a friends house, in the wake of his split from Keira.

Keira, 31, continues to live in Jarrod’s parent’s Brighton home, and her car parked outside was still fitted with a baby car seat for her ex-boyfriend’s nephew.

Just a day prior on Sunday, Keira took to Instagram to announce the news that she and Jarrod have called it quits on their relationship.

A ‘heartbroken’ Keira told her fans: ‘It is with a very sad heart but I have to let you all know that Jarrod and I have split up.

‘I’m sorry if anyone is disappointed or if I have let anyone down. Please respect our privacy as this is a very hard time for me.’

Keira and Jarrod met last year on the set of Bachelor In Paradise, and have been together for approximately eight months.  

The reality TV twosome’s romance went public in January when they were photographed canoodling on a beach together, months before Bachelor In Paradise had even aired.

As soon as the Paradise finale screened in late April, Keira confirmed plans to relocate from Sydney to Melbourne to live with Jarrod.

The pair soon became inseparable, sharing almost every detail of their romance on social media.  

As recently as July, Keira had said that she planned to marry Jarrod and have children with him.

When asked by a fan if she planned to walk down the aisle with the Bachelorette star, she said: ‘I hope so, one day… He makes me very happy!’

Jarrod also seemed confident in their future together, telling New Idea magazine last month that Keira would be an incredible mother.  

‘I think Keira would be an amazing parent because she is so good with kids and she’s so funny,’ he gushed.

The pair were last seen together on August 11 when Keira shared a touching snap of the twosome at a local cafe to Instagram.

Keira shot to fame on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor back in 2016.

Her outspoken, villainous persona made her immoderately controversial, and it didn’t take long for her to return to reality TV in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and then Bachelor In Paradise.

Jarrod was the runner-up on Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette last year, with viewers labelling him a ‘stage five clinger’ due to his emotional nature.
