He’s the Bachelorette hopeful who was left crestfallen after failing to find love with Sophie Monk on the show’s dramatic finale.
And despite being unceremoniously ‘friend zoned’ , Jarrod Woodgate had revealed that he will always be there for the blonde bombshell.
Speaking to news.com.au, some three months after the finale was filmed, Jarrod revealed that he still held a torch for Sophie.

‘Right now, if Sophie was to call me and say, “let’s catch up for a drink,” I’d do it,’ he said.
He added that his affections for the star would never waver, despite Sophie declaring her love for Stu Laundy in the finale.
‘I’m always going to be there for Soph, even if it works out or if it doesn’t,’ Jarrod added. ‘Just because we say ‘goodbye’ doesn’t mean we say goodbye to our friendship.’

He was reduced to tears as Sophie broke the news, telling Jarrod: ‘In my head, you’re everything I’ve been looking for.’
She continued: ‘Absolutely everything but my heart belongs to someone else.’

Regaining his composure a valiant Jarrod thanked Sophie for their short-lived time together.
‘You helped me become a better person in this whole journey and I thank you for that,’ he said.
As Jarrod pivoted and walked away from Sophie, she was clearly shaken up by Jarrod’s emotional display declaring: ‘Oh, I’m a a***hole. Oh, god. I’m sorry.’
