Jason Manford is selling off his property portfolio to help pay off his 2017 divorce from his ex-wife Catherine.
The comedian, 38, is believed to have already flogged eight properties from his former 10 ten home empire and has made £3million.
It has been claimed that Jason has been freeing up his assets to ‘settle the bill for his 2017 legal split from his first wife’.

Jason’s property portfolio is based in Greater Manchester after he snapped up a series of properties to let when he started landing big showbiz jobs.
According to The Sun, Companies House documents reveal that his holding company Invisible Man Ltd is being dissolved and its’ properties sold.
A report filed on the website, says: ‘The principal activity of the Company was that of a holding Company which held a portfolio of investment properties.
‘The Company has reached the end of its useful life and it was appropriate to wind the Company up in the form of a Voluntary Liquidation.’

‘At the date of liquidation, the Company had ten properties, nine of those investment properties, at the date of this report, eight of these properties have been sold.’
The report also noted that £400,000 of the sales had been paid in tax.
MailOnline have contacted Jason’s representative for comment.
The father-of-six remarried in 2017 to his current wife Lucy Dyke, after splitting from Catherine four year prior.
This comes after Jason revealed he has landed a new job driving elderly people to medical appointments, after being turned down by Tesco.
He recently said he was ‘livid’ that the store had declined his application to be a driver and admitted that he was ‘only trying to do his bit’ amid the coronavirus pandemic.
But now the star has secured a new position as a volunteer driver and filmed from his car as he waited to pick up one OAP, called Dorothy, after dropping her off at a podiatrist.

He quipped: ‘Am I a friend of Dorothy? No, but I am now. We’ve had a good old chat, me and Dorothy on the way to the podiatrist.
‘She’s lovely. She’s a bit deaf so we’ve just been shouting at each other. It’s all right.’
The comic proudly showed off his uniform in the Facebook Live video adding: ‘I have got me masks.
‘I got me little badge, volunteer driver. Got me hi-vis, which I’m well excited about.

‘What else am I going to do? No one needs stand-ups in an emergency.’
After chatting to fans he said: ‘I better go in a minute because Dorothy will be out of her meeting.
‘Meeting is that what they call them? Appointment. Bless her.’
Manford posted the video on Facebook saying: ‘I’m waiting for Dorothy to come out of the podiatrist so come keep me company.’
He was inundated with compliments from fans who praised his efforts helping others amid the COVID-19 crisis.
One wrote: ‘You keep doing what you’re doing and take no notice of anyone else, you’re doing what you need to get you through this surreal time.

Music teacher Andrew Wilson, from Manchester, also posed for a social distancing selfie when Jason turned up to pick up a pensioner living in his street.

Manford responded: ‘Gotta says I’m getting used to these two metre selfies. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to letting people into my personal space!’

In the Facebook Live video, Manford also admitted how tired he looks due to playing video games into the early hours.
He said: ‘I look knackered look at my eyes. That’s playing Football Manager until 2 o’clock in the morning that. Stupid
‘Why do we do that? We know we’ve got kids, we know we have got a busy day, getting up homeschooling or whatever it is.
‘Yet sometimes at night I go to bed and think ‘I’m going to play computer games or watch Netflix to 2am because that’s my time.’

Speaking about his rejection from Tesco, he said his post was genuine but he had not anticipated the reaction.
He said: ‘That backfired, it was only a little joke. People are so hypersensitive. Was I livid, or was I joking, what do you think?’
‘A few people thought I was taking the p**s, being insensitive or making it up about my previous message about being turned down for a job as a Tesco driver.
‘I applied seven weeks ago when I thought, like everyone, it was basically wartime and it would require all hands on deck. I applied on the 21st for quite a few jobs.
‘I have since managed to fill my ‘spare time’ doing some volunteer driving and homeschooling six kids

One fan on Facebook Live said he could join her at Asda to which the star joked: ‘You wouldn’t have had me at Asda. I worked for Asda when I was 19.
‘All they’d have to do is a quick check on the system, computer says no.’
Recalling one incident when he worked there he added: ‘A customer came up to me and said ‘Have you got this T-shirt in a large?’
‘I said ‘There’s none left’.
‘He said ‘None at all?’ and I said ‘Is that different to none? I’ll just look in the At All cupboard shall I’?’

The star’s post, which appeared to be in jest, also included a screenshot of the email he received informing him they wouldn’t be pursuing his application.

The email read: ‘Hello Jason, we appreciate your interest to work for Tesco during these unprecedented times and thank you for your application for the Customer Assistant – Convenience.
‘Regrettably we are unable to progress your application forward this time as the vacancy is now closed. Unfortunately, due to such a high volume of applications we are unable to provide any detailed feedback.
‘If you are interest in other opportunities at Tesco, or would like to be kept in the loop about future jobs that may be right for you, keep your Tesco Career Centre up to date.’
Jason had applied for a role at the Alderley Road Express in Wilmslow, which is local to his Cheshire home where he lives with wife Lucy Dyke and their children.
In response to the rejection, he posted on Instagram: ‘ Absolutely livid Tesco. I was only trying to do my bit.
He went on to joke that he’ll be keeping an eye on the new employee, and said: ‘I hope the better person got and enjoys the job, I’ll be watching.’

Tesco has responded to Jason following his posts on social media and claimed that he was rejected because he didn’t meet the deadline for the application.
A Tesco spokesman said: ‘We’ve recruited around 50,000 temporary workers during the Coronavirus pandemic and they have played a huge part in helping us to serve customers safely during these unprecedented times.
‘Jason’s skills would have no doubt brought a lot of joy to our customers and colleagues, so it’s a shame he didn’t make the deadline for this vacancy. But should he ever want to join the Tesco family in the future, we’d be happy to receive an application from him.’
Jason later defended his post after people accused him of ‘taking the p**s’ by applying for a job at his local supermarket.
He said: ‘A few people thought I was taking the p**s, being insensitive or making it up about my previous message about being turned down for a job as a Tesco driver.
‘I applied 7 weeks ago when I thought, like everyone, it was basically wartime and it would require all hands on deck.
He explained: ‘We’ve all had the rug pulled out from underneath us. Whatever situation you’re in, it’s totally different to what it was a month ago’
‘Curtains got cancelled on the 16th & I applied on the 21st fo quite a few jobs). I have since managed to fill my ‘spare time’ doing some volunteer driving (this is not ‘virtue signalling’, just defending myself!) and homeschooling 6 kids (and doing our little quizzes and kids’ comedy clubs!) and being made to clean my own house by my wife.
‘At the same time I also don’t believe ‘we’re all this together’. I’m more aware than ever the differences in society & chatting to some of the people I’ve driven the last few weeks has only highlighted how hard the lockdown has been for people with less money and space.
‘I feel extremely fortunate. Hope you’re all keeping safe and being kind to yourself and to others.
