Jason Oppenheim is ‘happy’ for ex Chrishell Stause after she moved on with G Flip

Jason Oppenheim is reportedly ‘happy’ for his ex Chrishell Stause after she moved on with singer G Flip, but the new romance has been tough on him. 

An insider told Entertainment Tonight that Jason, 45, was hurt from their split, though he wished her well with her new relationship.

The pair became well known for showcasing their relationship on Netflix’s Selling Sunset, although their romance came to a close last December.

The source expressed that Oppenheim was hurt by the breakup and that it was still a sensitive subject for him. 

‘Their breakup was very painful for Jason and he doesn’t even like to talk about it,’ they said.

The insider expressed that the real estate broker still remained on good terms with Stause, although their split was particularly difficult for him. 

‘He’s not mad at Chrishell and he is happy for her from a friend standpoint, but he is just really hurt. He has been feeling upset since they broke up, and that’s how he still feels,’ they stated.

They added that seeing the actress move on with G Flip ‘has been really hard’ for the real estate broker.

Oppenheim and his former girlfriend kept their romance under wraps for an extended period of time before going public with an affectionate set of snaps that were shared to the latter’s Instagram account last July.

The former couple also officially confirmed that they were dating that same month.

Stause was previously married to Justin Hartley from 2017 until 2021, and the real estate broker was formerly in a relationship with Mary Fitzgerald, who also appears on Selling Sunset.

Stause later confirmed that she was dating G Flip, 27, during Selling Sunset’s reunion special, which premiered on Friday.

A source later spoke to People to express that the pair had already begun living together. 

An insider previously told Entertainment Tonight that the former pair’s split was caused by the actress’ desire to welcome children into her life. 

‘Chrishell wants to have kids much sooner than Jason does. She is really interested in starting a family and that’s not something that is on Jason’s mind right now,’ they said.

The insider noted that Oppenheim and Stause were not on the same page regarding her desire for a family. 

‘Chrishell felt like she had to get serious with herself and break her own heart by ending her relationship with Jason because having kids is a main priority for her,’ they stated.

The insider added that Stause ‘doesn’t want to wait or be on Jason’s timeline.’
