Jenna Uskowitz reveals she and husband David Stanley are expecting their first child

Jenna Ushkowitz and David Stanley are adding a little bundle of joy to their family, announcing their first child.

The 35-year-old Glee star took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, showing off her baby bump for the first time in a new snap with husband David Stanley.  

The news comes just six months after they tied the knot at The Lombardi House in Hollywood back in July.

‘Our hearts are so full… Baby Girl Stanley coming in June,’ Ushkowitz said in the caption of her post.

The couple received a number of celebratory comments from their celebrity friends, such as Marla Sokoloff, who said, ‘I. AM. SO. HERE. FOR. THIS.’ 

Jenna’s Glee co-star Max Adler commented, ‘Congrats!!!!!’ with a number of heart-eye emojis while Christine Ko added, ‘Ahhh congrats Jenna!!! So happy for you both!!!’

The happy couple first met on a Hinge date in 2018, the first for the actress, and they got engaged in August 2020.

They tied the knot on July 24 at the historic Lombardi House in the heart of Hollywood in front 104 of their closest friends and family members.

‘We always dreamed of a wedding on the smaller side, but with COVID, we definitely had to scale back more than we anticipated,’ Jenna told Brides.

‘Having our closest family and loved ones there (safely) was a priority for us. By setting the expectation from the get-go that we had to limit guests, we were able to focus our planning and ensure that we could stay flexible in case any element of the day needed to change,’ she added.

Just before their wedding, the couple celebrated their three-year anniversary with their beloved dog Bear. 

‘3 years D$ thank you for choosing me,’ Ushkowitz began in her post.

Ushkowitz had only a few minor roles to her credit when she landed the role of Tina Cohen-Chang on the hit Fox series Glee.

She starred in all six seasons of the musical series, which wrapped up its impressive run in 2013.

She will next be seen in Marla Sokoloff’s feature film directorial debut Rosé All Day with Briana Cuoco and Veronica Dunne.
