Jennifer Aniston teases ‘juicy’ and ‘more sensual’ season three of Apple TV+ hit The Morning Show

The Morning Show executive producer-star Jennifer Aniston revealed that the 10-episode third season of her hit Apple TV+ drama, premiering in the fall, will be ‘juicy’ and ‘more sensual.’

‘It’s a good, juicy one,’ the 54-year-old Emmy winner teased to People on Wednesday.

‘Everybody’s getting in trouble. Everybody has a secret. And everyone’s just walking the line. It’s a lot more sensual this year.’

That might have something to do with the introduction of powerful corporate titan Paul Marks, played by Emmy winner Jon Hamm, who sets his sights on the show’s fictional network UBA.

Marcia Gay Harden, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nicole Beharie, Tig Notaro, Néstor Carbonell, and Karen Pittman will all appear in the third season – which wrapped production on February 9.

Jennifer reprises her role as The Morning Show co-host Alexandra ‘Alex’ Levy, and she and fellow executive producer Reese Witherspoon reportedly earn an eye-popping $2M per episode – not including producing fees and ownership points.

Homeland’s Charlotte Stoudt replaced showrunner Kerry Ehrin for season three of the newsroom series, which was based on Brian Stelter’s 2013 book Top of the Morning.

On May 1, Apple renewed The Morning Show for a fourth season despite the first two seasons scoring less than a 68% critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Aniston – who vacationed with Jason Bateman and Jimmy Kimmel in the Bahamas last summer – has been working so hard she vowed to take the next two months off for an extended vacation.

‘In our business, you have to demand the time off or carve it out, because there’s always something that’s going to pop up. So I think after next week I’m going to take June and July off,’ the San Fernando Valley native explained.

‘I’ve never done that, but I really think I’m going to do it. I’m going to travel because I haven’t really since the pandemic. I’ve become very insular. But it’s time to get over that, it’s very easy to fall into agoraphobia after this pandemic. And I refuse to let that happen.’

Jennifer’s daily mantra has become ‘Find joy’ and, with two marriages behind her, she takes comfort in ‘the most precious group of girlfriends.’

‘I am so madly in love with [them],’ Aniston gushed.

Last Friday, Netflix began streaming Rawson Marshall Thurber’s 2013 comedy We’re the Millers and, by Sunday, it topped the streaming giant’s list of most-streamed films in the US.

The crime flick starred the Friends alum as stripper Rose, who’s hired by marijuana dealer David Clark (Jason Sudeikis) along with two others to pretend to be his family so he can more easily cross the Mexican border.

Perhaps the resurgence was due the newfound Guardians 3 fame of Will Poulter – who played David’s awkward 18-year-old neighbor Kenny alongside Emma Roberts, Nick Offerman, Kathryn Hahn, Molly Quinn, and Ed Helms.

We’re the Millers amassed $270M at the global box office, scoring a 75% audience approval score yet a dismal 48% critic approval rating (out of 161 reviews) on Rotten Tomatoes.
