Jennifer Ellison has been rushed to hospital.
The former Brookside star , 38, took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that she has been put on a drip to help her with a mystery illness, sharing a shot of her hand with an intravenous line (IV).
Jennifer captioned the shot: ‘back again’ in a nod to the fact that her current stint in hospital comes just 12 weeks after she impaled herself with fishing hook and required an A&E dash.

It was only at the end of August that Jennifer was in hospital after getting a fishing hook lodged into the side of her leg.
Posting photographs of her gruesome injury to Instagram at the time, she wrote: ‘How NOT to Sea fish!! Caught myself
‘Just want to say a huge thank you to the wonderful NHS staff at Craignure Mull A&E hospital for looking after me so well and getting it out!’
Jennifer is a doting mum to three sons with husband Rob Tickle, who she wed in October 2009.
