But on Tuesday, Jennifer Garner was all smiles as she took center stage at the premiere of her new film Peppermint.
The 46-year-old was the consummate professional as she posed for photos and signed autographs ahead of the screening.

She’s promoting it as a female driven action movie and she definitely packs a punch if the trailer is anything to go by.
The film is directed by French director Pierre Morel who made the action thrillers Taken, From Paris With Love and The Gunman.

She was married to Affleck for a decade before their decision in the summer of 2015 to call it quits.
Their divorce has just been finalized and they continue to share joint custody of their children – Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six.
She has stood by her ex since their split and supported him in his struggles with addiction.
Affleck is currently in a residential treatment facility in Malibu.
He first sought treatment for alcohol addiction in 2001 and in March, 2017, he revealed he had completed a second residential stay at a rehab center.
