Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall cause a local uproar in Sydney’s Whale Beach over her monster $30million mega-mansion renovation
Jennifer Hawkins is progressing with the development of her $30million Westfield-style mega mansion at Whale Beach on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
But locals are furious with the ongoing development, which commenced more than nine months ago, as the ‘constant stream of trucks’ continue to block the narrow street and park illegally for ‘hours on end’, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
Residents in the surrounding homes are reeling as the publication reports one neighbour has had his driveway blocked ‘on several occasions’ for hours.
Meanwhile, another local’s front lawn has been damaged by cement mixers.
On top of that, the noise coming from the former Miss Universe Australia and her husband Jake Wall’s renovation has been a constant disruption to what once was the quietest corner of the peaceful suburb.

Hawkins, 39, and her husband Wall, 40, appear to have received the construction go-ahead to begin building in the wealthy suburb located 40 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district.
Aerial footage obtained by Daily Mail Australia last month shows a construction site set up on the enormous plot of land, which is four times the size of its neighbouring mansions.
The original 1950s home was demolished to make way for a modern multi-level mansion that will include a basketball court, swimming pool and a large garage.

The high end property will also have an internal lift connecting all three floors, as well as five bedrooms, multiple living spaces and a large kitchen.
The property will have jaw-dropping oceanside views and sit atop a stunning cliffside close to local amenities.
A newly laid dirt foundation currently covers the construction site, which takes up a double block and sits on a hill overlooking the beach.

Building materials and excavator trucks are dotted around the large site, while scaffolding covers the front perimeter.
The property appears about four times bigger than its neighbours, with its size reminiscent of Chris Hemsworth’s Westfield-inspired mansion in Byron Bay.
The block, once owned by the late Joan Sutherland, was purchased by Jennifer and Jake in 2020 for $6.95 million.
Hawkins and Wall dated for eight years before they tied the knot in a Bali ceremony in June 2013.
The lovebirds, who both hail from Newcastle, New South Wales, have two children, daughter Frankie and son Hendrix.
