Jennifer Hawkins has confirmed she will retire as Myer ambassador in November after 12 years with the retail giant.
34-year-old model took to Instagram on Thursday to break the life-changing news with her 875,000 followers after The Block’s Elyse Knowles reportedly inked a deal for $300,00 to replace the far costlier supermodel.
Jennifer, who is rumoured to be resigning from the retailer over an alleged ‘pay dispute’ exited gracefully, sharing: ‘Myer will always hold a special place in my heart.’

‘After 12 years it’s time to move onto a new a chapter in my life. I’ll be finishing up my role with Myer this November,’ she began.
‘But I would like to take this moment to thank everyone at Myer – the staff, the amazing designers, the suppliers and everyone else for working alongside me over those 12 years.
‘Myer will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish the Myer team every success for the future.’

The news comes after the The Daily Telegraph reported on Sunday that Elyse, 25, has inked a deal for $300,00 to replace the far costlier supermodel, who is believed to command $1 million a year for the same gig.

The Sydney Morning Herald’s Private Sydney claimed last week that the model will be replaced by The Block’s Elyse, who will do the same job ‘at a fraction of the price’.
A spokesperson for Myer told Daily Mail Australia exclusively last week: ‘Jennifer Hawkins is under contract as the Face of Myer until the end of 2018.
‘Jennifer has a busy period coming up with Myer to launch the Spring 2018 season and will take part in our ‘Runway Series’ in-store parades starting in Myer Sydney City on Thursday 23 August.
