Jennifer Hawkins’ perfect response to ‘mum shamers’

Jennifer Hawkins has no time for ‘mum shamers’.

A week after being lectured by trolls over her parenting, the 36-year-old model sent them a clear message on Wednesday.

She silenced her critics by sharing a snap to Instagram of herself bonding with her happy, healthy baby girl, Frankie Violet.

Brushing it off: A week after being lectured by trolls over her parenting, Jennifer Hawkins sent a clear message to her critics on Wednesday

Frankie, three months, curiously pulled on her mother’s hair in the photo taken at Jennifer’s $20million Newport home.

‘And the hair pulling begins,’ she wrote in the caption.

She also shared another post to her Instagram Story, which showed her taking an infant first aid course with her husband, Jake Wall.

It comes after Jennifer was trolled on Instagram last Tuesday over a perfectly innocent photo of her at the beach with her daughter.

Keyboard warriors unfairly suggested that she wasn’t being sun safe with Frankie, who wasn’t wearing a hat in the sunny weather.

‘Where’s the baby’s hat?’ asked one of Jennifer’s followers, while another wrote: ‘Loving the photo by why does Mummy have a hat on and not Bubba?’

The former Myer ambassador was quick to respond to her critics at the time.

She clarified that ‘bub was under a beach umbrella two seconds after [the] picture’ was taken.

Another commented: ‘I’m laughing as a mum, as people just love to stir the pot.’
