Jennifer Hawkins, 34, recently stepped down as a Myer ambassador after serving for 12 years in the role.
And now it appears the model is reflecting on the meaning of life since departing from the retail giant.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Jennifer uploaded a cryptic message that read: ‘Not every day is a good day, live anyway. Not everyone will tell you the truth, be honest anyway.’

The post continued: ‘Not all you love will love you back, love anyway. Not all deals are fair, play fair anyway.’
While it’s unclear why Jennifer shared this message, the quote comes after rumours that she departed Myer over an alleged ‘pay dispute.’
In August, The Daily Telegraph reported that 25-year-old model Elyse Knowles inked a deal for $300,00 to replace the far costlier supermodel, who is believed to command $1 million a year for the same gig.

The paper reported that a source claimed: ‘Myer just doesn’t have the money any more, which suited Jen because she is going down the lifestyle path and steering away from fashion.’
Elyse has already begun a relationship with the department store, walking for Myer’s 2018 Spring Fashion runway show in Melbourne earlier this month.
The swimsuit model, who has gained a legion of fans thanks to her appearance on The Block, signed with the struggling department store in late July.

Meanwhile, Jennifer’s exit from Myer comes at a perfect time given that the retail giant suffered a record $486 million annual loss in 2017-18.
Despite having already slashed costs to remain competitive earlier in the year, sales still plummeted by 3.2 per cent to $3.1 billion.
As a result, the department store recorded a whopping loss – its first since publicly listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2009.
