Jennifer Lawrence blasts Harvey Weinstein on chat show

Jennifer Lawrence tore into Harvey Weinstein on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night, branding him ‘an ass boil that does not go away’.

The movie executive’s lawyers had previously used Lawrence as an example of a woman who supposedly had a good relationship with the accused sexual predator.

Lawrence disagreed: ‘He’s an ass boil that does not go away…he’s just the worst, when is it going to end?’ ssked the 27-year-old actress, who had kicked off her shoes and downed several shots of rum during the chat show interview.

‘This awfulness is still happening,’ raged The Hunger Games star.

Lawrence also described her experience as talk show host, when she took over from Jimmy Kimmel while his son went into hospital.

‘It’s not that hard,’ she joked, before recounting how she was left with far too much time when interviewing Kim Kardashian.

‘She’s just shooting me down like a Congresswoman and cutting it down, so I look at my list and I’m out of questions, and the clock’s like ”five minutes” and I’m like ”do you wear like socks to sleep or…?” I didn’t know what to ask’.

On Lawrence’s request Colbert brought out some booze.

‘This will help bring my soul back, I know it!’ she exclaimed before knocking back her first shot.

The Passengers star has announced she will take ‘a year off’ from acting soon.

Lawrence said it was becoming increasingly difficult to stay incognito when spending time with her family in Kentucky.
