Jennifer Lawrence opted for a very dramatic look for the New York premiere of Red Sparrow Monday night.
The actress, 27, has been traveling the globe promoting the thriller in which she plays a Russian ballerina who becomes a ruthless spy.
Lawrence arrived at Lincoln Center in a black gown with a sheer bodice and full skirt and with her eyes heavily lined with black kohl.

The former West Wing star added silver hoop earrings, blue eye shadow and red lip color.

He sported a graying beard and a white handkerchief in his breast pocket.
The 43-year-old completed his ensemble with a pair of light brown shoes.
