Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce took to social media Tuesday in solidarity with Mexico following a deadly earthquake.

The 48-year-old New Yorker posted the Mexican and Puerto Rican flags on Instagram.

‘Dios protege a mi Puerto Rico ???? y dale fortaleza a la gente de México,’ Jennifer wrote in the caption for her 69 million followers.

The daughter of Puerto Rican parents in her caption asked God to protect her Puerto Rico and to give strength to the people of Mexico.

Beyonce, 36, posted black and white Mexican and Puerto Rican flags along with the message ‘God bless Mexico and Puerto Rico’.

Salma Hayek, 51, who was born in Veracruz, Mexico also took to social media following the magnitude 7.1 quake that killed hundreds.

She posted a heart-shaped Mexican flag and wrote in the caption: ‘#México mi corazón está contigo México my heart is with you’.

The temblor that struck Tuesday was Mexico’s deadliest earthquake since 1985 and occurred on the 32nd anniversary of a quake that killed thousands.
