Pop diva Jennifer Lopez has revealed that the iconic plunging Versace gown she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards was ‘the reason Google Images was created.’

Discussing the outfit in a YouTube video on Friday, the 49-year-old said: ‘So many people were searching for this and they had no way to search a picture at that time on the Internet so they created Google Images.

‘I’m just wondering, where’s my check? Because I heard that we crashed the system that night!’

Calling the daring tropical-print number her ‘biggest fashion moment ever’ – the Medicine songstress recalled how her stylist at the time, Andrea Lieberman, originally discouraged her from wearing it.

‘My stylist is mortified. She’s like, “No! It’s been worn [three times] before!” But [my manager Benny Medina and] the guys were adamant and we said okay,’ Jennifer laughed.

‘There was never any danger of [my boobs popping out on stage]. I was so securely stuck into that thing [with double-stick tape] that there was gonna be no mishaps!’

The next morning, Lopez – who was ‘sad’ she didn’t win the Grammy – was on the cover of every major newspaper for her red carpet choice.
