Jennifer Lopez’s twins Max and Emme, 11, perform songs from Annie and Hamilton at their mother’s 50th birthday bash in Miami
Pop legends abounded at Jennifer Lopez’s 50th birthday bash in Miami on Wednesday.
But the performance closest to the birthday girl’s heart came from her 11-year-old twins Max and Emme.
Designer Michael Costello posted Instagram Stories footage of the sweet tribute at the party venue – which happened to be Gloria Estefan’s $32 million mansion.

The set list had a Broadway flavor – Emme opted for It’s A Hard-Knock Life from 1977’s Annie, while Max went more contemporary with My Shot from 2015’s Hamilton.
Emme was joined by a few friends for It’s A Hard-Knock Life and the group of kids did a bit of choreography where they swept the dance floor.
In the musical, the song is sung by children in an orphanage where the ghoulish caretaker Miss Hannigan puts them all to work.

Emme also did a solo performance of Thelma Houston’s Do You Know Where You’re Going To, which Diana Ross famously covered for the 1975 film Mahogany.
Ashanti and DJ Khaled were part of the 250-strong guest list for Jennifer, who shares her children with her third ex-husband Marc Anthony.
J-Lo is currently engaged to former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, who gifted her a 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 for her golden birthday.

Alex’s daughters Natasha, 14, and Ella, 11, whom he shares with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, were at Jennifer’s party as well.
DJ Cassidy, Ashanti, Fat Joe and DJ Khaled could all be spotted getting up on the DJ stand to help keep the mood going at the bash.
Divine Delicacies Cakes created the 10-tier confection that was decorated with sparkler candles and carried out by several men in suits.
