Speaking about her varied diet, she added: ‘I’ll eat like a pig one week and not care the next!’

Jennifer is also proud of the process her body went through to welcome her first child, explaining she loves all her ‘lumps and bumps’.

‘I love it all,’ she revealed. ‘When you’ve carried a baby and brought life into the world… you have a new-found respect for the woman’s body.

‘As long as you’re healthy fit, I’m happy with those little lumps and bumps. He gave them to me and he wouldn’t be here without them.’

Jennifer has always been candid and honest about her look, garnering praise from fans when she took to Instagram a month after the birth to show an unedited look at her post-baby body in a lingerie selfie.

Discussing the positive feedback at posting the incredibly honest caption, which detailed her swollen breasts, intimate area and ‘squishy’ tummy, she reasoned: ‘If I was nervous, I wouldn’t have done it!

‘The picture didn’t bother me, I didn’t care, it was the words, I don’t really do long posts like that. A few years ago when I suffered with body confidence issues they were the words I wanted to hear. I got great feedback from mums.

‘People in the public eye are glossy and airbrushed – show the normal ones! Don’t take it too serious. it’s good fun.’

Whilst the pair had been living together at Greg’s home in Newcastle following the birth of their child, she will now relocate to Liverpool to film on the weekdays.

She explained: ‘I’m not worried, I’m really excited to return to work. We’ll live between the two houses but it’s how me and Greg have worked. It works better for us.’

Whilst Jennifer is gearing up to work on Hollyoaks, she is currently focusing on her work with Mane Match, an app that helps punters pick out the horse they should back for the Grand National.

Revealing her reasons for partnering with the app, Jennifer admitted: ‘When it comes to the Grand National I’m a bit clueless because there’s 40 horses to choose from! After a few glasses of prosecco I normally just go “that one will do!” So for me this is amazing because it narrows down your perfect match.’
