Jeremy Renner sports a classic black suit on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of his Marvel TV series Hawkeye


Jeremy Renner hit the bullseye with a classic look on the red carpet for the world premiere of his upcoming Hawkeye series. 

The 50-year-old actor reprises his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye, in the new six-episode Disney Plus series, debuting November 24.

The show will feature Clint teaming up with a new archer, Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) as they face a new threat in New York City.

Renner was all smiles, rocking a classic black velvet suit, with a white dress shirt, black tie and black vest under his black suit coat.

He had a silver watch seen peeking out from under his suit coat as he posed on the red carpet at the premiere, held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

He completed his look with matching black pants and shoes before heading in for the premiere screening.

Renner made his debut as Hawkeye with a cameo in the 2011 MCU adventure Thor, before his first full-fledged appearance in the 2012 blockbuster The Avengers.

He returned in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

This new series Hawkeye is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, which finds Hawkeye in New York City, trying to get back to his family before the holidays.

The show introduces Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, who, in the Marvel Comics, took over the Hawkeye mantle from Barton.

Linda Cardellini returns as Clint’s wife Laura Barton, with Vera Farmiga making her MCU debut as Laura Bishop, Kate’s mother.

The show will also bring back Florence Pugh, reprising her Black Widow role as Yelena Belova.

Black Widow was set between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Endgame, with the post-credit scene featuring Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) telling Yelena that Clint was responsible for Black Widow’s (Scarlett Johansson) death.

Renner also stars in the new Paramount Plus TV series Mayor of Kingstown, and he also voiced Hawkeye in the animated series What If…?

He’ll next be featured in the animated movie Back Home Again, which doesn’t have a release date at this time.
