Jesse Palmer after the success of The Golden Bachelor has thrown his support for more spin-off series with elderly contestants.
The 45-year-old host of The Bachelor and its spin-off shows said he supports fans who have been calling for The Golden Bachelorette to give women a late in life shot at love, according to an article on Monday by ET.
‘I really hope we do it. I’ve been clamoring for it as well,’ Jesse told the outlet ahead of the season finale of The Golden Bachelor starring retired widow Gerry Turner, 72.
‘I just love the group of women on Gerry’s season. I can’t single one out specifically. I think there’s a number that would be phenomenal Golden Bachelorettes, and that are very deserving of that opportunity,’ he added.
Jesse joked that The Golden Bachelorette could offer all sorts of entertainment for viewers.

‘I would also love to see a mansion full of 70-something-year-old guys just trying to fix everything around the mansion all day with their hands down their pants. Snoring and falling asleep on the couch during the day,’ Jesse cracked.
Jesse, who starred on season five of The Bachelor in 2004, said it would actually be ‘pretty compelling’ to watch.
‘I’m on the edge of my seat just like everybody else waiting to find out if this is something that’s going to happen or not,’ Jesse said.
Some fans of The Golden Bachelorette idea have called for a double season with two female leads just like on the recent season of The Bachelorette starring Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey while other have floated the notion of a Bachelor In Paradise-like show.
‘I think they’re good,’ Jesse said of both ideas.
‘Golden Paradise in a retirement home in Naples, Florida, I think sounds incredible,’ he added.
Gerry has narrowed the field down to Leslie Fhima, 64, and Theresa Nist, 70, ahead of the November 30 season finale.
He spent the night with both Leslie and Theresa on last week’s Fantasy Suites episode that was filmed at Springs Resort & Spa in Costa Rica.

The Bachelor first debuted on March 25, 2002 on ABC and was hosted by Chris Harrison, 52, for its first 25 seasons before he left after defending a contestant accused of racism.
The flagship series has spawned several spin-offs, including: The Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad, Bachelor In Paradise, After Paradise and The Bachelor Winter Games.
ABC renewed The Bachelor in May for a 28th season that will star Joey Graziadei, 28, a teaching tennis pro from Koloa, Hawaii.
Joey was the runner-up on season 20 of The Bachelorette that starred Charity Lawson, 27, who is currently competing on Dancing With The Stars on ABC.
