Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita cut casual figures while enjoying a lunch date on Saturday.

The Modern Family alum, 47, and Justin, 37, strolled around in the California sun after their afternoon meal at All Time restaurant in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood.

The pair — who welcomed their second son via surrogate in November — both kept their looks casual while they were out and about.

Jesse donned a simple black T-shirt, a pair of black shorts, and black and gray sneakers.

The actor, who just finished his Broadway run in the play Take Me Out, also had on a white baseball cap, black sunglasses and a green fanny pack around his waist.

He held his phone in his hand and looked to be talking into it as Justin strolled beside him.

Justin matched his husband’s look by also keeping it simple with a navy blue crewneck that had the words ‘Beckett’s Dad’ printed on it.

Beckett is the two-year-old first son of Jesse and Justin, whom they welcomed via surrogate in 2020.

The former actor and producer also sported a pair of camo shorts and blue sneakers.

He kept himself shielded from the sun with a black backward baseball cap and a pair of circular sunglasses.

The couple seemed in high spirits as they walked around the area and soaked in the midday sun.

In November, Jesse and Justin welcomed their second child, a boy named Sullivan.

Ferguson captioned his Instagram post announcing the birth: ‘Sad to be away from my @takemeoutbway fam tonight but we ran off to welcome our newest little one, Sullivan Louis Ferguson-Mikita.’

He went on to thank the doctors and people involved in helping ‘grow our family’ and that they are ‘overjoyed to be a family of four.’

Jesse starred in the revival of the Tony Award-winning revival of Richard Greenberg’s 2002 play Take Me Out, which closed on February 5.

The Cocaine Bear star played the character Mason Marzac, which won him a Tony Award last spring for Best Featured Actor in a Play.

He starred alongside Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams in the show, which tells the story of a Major League Baseball player who reveals he is gay.

The show opened two separate times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It ended up winning Best Revival of a Play at the 75th Tony Awards.

During the show’s run, an audience member broke the strict no-phone policy in the theatre and captured a full-frontal video of Williams during his nude scene in the show.

After it caused a sensation online, the actor shared his thoughts on the situation during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

Williams told host Andy Cohen during the After Show portion of the program: ‘It’s a body, once you see it, you realize it’s whatever, it’s a boy! I just have to make it not that big of a deal.’
