Jessica Brown Findlay makes a leggy display at Munich – The Edge of War premiere reception

Jessica Brown Findlay showcased her incredible style at the post premiere reception for Munich – The Edge of War on Wednesday. 

The actress, 32, made a leggy display in a white shirt dress and a black cape style blazer during the 65th BFI London Film Festival at Kettner’s Townhouse in London.  

The beauty- who plays Pamela Legat in the movie – completed her outfit with open toe heels and a mesh black scarf.

Her brunette locks were styled in soft curls and her glam makeup enhanced her striking features.  

Downton Abbey star Jessica posed for a slew of snaps with German film director Christian Schwochow and actor Jeremy Irons, who also stars in the film. 

Christian looked dapper in a navy suit which he paired with a black shirt and he opted for comfort in Adidas trainers.

The Man in the Iron Mask actor donned a waistcoat with jeans which he paired with a smart coat.

Munich – The Edge of War is based on the international bestselling novel written by Robert Harris in 2018.  

The flick sees a British civil servant and a German diplomat cross paths in 1938 Munich as they try to prevent a war in Europe. 

Adolf Hitler is preparing to invade Czechoslovakia and Neville Chamberlain’s government desperately seeks a peaceful solution. 

With the pressure building, Hugh Legat, British civil servant, and Paul von Hartmann, German diplomat, travel to Munich for the emergency Conference.

As negotiations begin, the two old friends find themselves at the centre of a web of political subterfuge and very real danger. 

Jessica is also due to star in the the BBC drama, Life After Life alongside Fleabag’s Sian Clifford. 

Filming has now begun on the adaptation of Kate Atkinson’s critically-acclaimed novel, which follows heroine Ursula Todd having alternative possible lives. 

Jojo Rabbit’s Thomasin McKenzie, 20, will take on the lead role of Ursula, while Sian, 39, will play her mother Sylvie.

Also joining the cast in the four-part drama is James McArdle, who will play Ursula’s father Hugh, and Jessica Hynes (Years and Years).

They are joined by Patsy Ferran (Black Narcissus), Harry Michell (Yesterday), Laurie Kynaston (The Trouble with Maggie Cole) Joshua Hill (Small Axe) and Maria Laird (Derry Girls). 

The series is being directed by BAFTA award-winning director John Crowley (Brooklyn, Boy A).

The story will follow Ursula as she is born one night in 1910, but dies before she draws her first breath.

On that same night in 1910, Ursula is reborn and survives. Time and time again, living and dying in different circumstances, Ursula is reborn into a new, alternative iteration of life once more.

The compelling story follows Ursula as she navigates each new life, through a critical era which spans two world wars, an encounter with Hitler and major life events.

Of playing the lead role, Thomasin said: ‘I’m drawn to Life After Life because it makes me laugh, cry, clench my fists in anger or whoop with empowerment.

Life After Life will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with the premiere date yet to be confirmed.
