Jessica Simpson is marking the release of the paperback version of her memoir — Open Book — by sharing video clips of her original 2020 promotional book tour. 

On Tuesday, the actress and former reality show star also took to Instagram to share some of her fashion ensembles as part of her #openbooklooks.

With its revealing details about her childhood, rise to fame, personal struggles and juicy details about life in Hollywood, Open Book made the New York Times Best Seller list following its original release in early February 2020.

In one of her latest posts on Tuesday night, Simpson struck a striking figure in Prada, which included a knee-high skirt and matching top that was cinched-in at the waist

‘Here is your Prada entertainment for tonight #OPENBOOKLOOKS. she confessed in the post. 

Matching perfectly with the fashion theme, she donned knee-high black leather boots that gave her an added boost with its platform design. 

She rounded out the look with her long blonde tresses pulled back into a stylish ponytails.

There’s also a couple of images of her dressed in flared black Safiyaa pants and a red Balmain knit shirt with gold buttons.

‘Bringing my author A game in Balmain for GMA. Blessed to be back with #OPENBOOKLOOKS, she wrote in the caption. 

For these photos, she had her hair styled long, with a part in the middle, and dangling earrings from Balenciage.

Simpson was also proud to wear a pink long-sleeve shirt from Tom Ford that was tucked into black-patterned skirt and matching knee-high boots both by Yves Saint Laurent. 

‘Dressed in Tom Ford- Bless the Lord! #OPENBOOKLOOKS,’ she revealed in the photo with her blonde tresses flowing down past the middle of her back with some added volume.

One year after the hardback release, Simpson’s paperback edition of Open Book includes a new introduction, in which Simpson writes about more about the sexual abuse she experienced as a child.  

With ‘Open Book, the Texas native said she set out to ‘rediscover”‘ herself and felt she needed ‘to put this out into the world’ so people could ‘understand me in a different way and on a different level and on a deeper level.’

Some of the hot topics she felt comfortable to share include past relationships, addiction problems, weight-loss struggles, body image issues and sexual abuse, and her marriage and children.

A little over a year ago, I released my memoir Open Book. I got to go out on the road to talk about my story and I was humbled that so many of you bravely shared your struggles and triumphs with me and trusted that I would understand,’ she shared in a lengthy Instagram statement earlier Tuesday.. 

‘My purpose in writing the book was to try and help anyone who might be feeling stuck or know there is something more for them, but needs that extra push. Thank you for sharing your lives with me. It has meant more to me than you can ever know.’    

Simpson first made waves in the entertainment industry as singer who’s debut studio album —Sweet Kisses (1999) sold two million copies behind the success of the single, I Wanna Love You Forever.
