JetBlue releases fun line of spoof office souvenirs

Some people might feel like work itself is enough of a reminder of the importance of vacation – but not JetBlue.

The airline has decided that even those who never take a vacation deserve some souvenirs to line their shelves at work, whether it be mugs, plates or ball caps.

However, instead of bearing the names of cities, sights or the like, these souvenirs let their owner remember all the fun they have while… at work.

For the office bod: JetBlue have released a series of spoof souvenir for those who never leave the office

JetBlue’s ‘Office Souvenirs’ series include a number of items dedicated to the office body who can’t get enough of emails, printers and the occasional free bagel.

Among the products available on the JetBlue website is a snow globe containing an office printer, a water bottle bearing the image of a water cooler and even postcards with photos of bland office spaces.

The series also includes a number of mugs bearing messages such as ‘Remember that thing I said in that meeting?’ and ‘Low toner? I print anyway.’

A little sniff: The series offers candles with scents such as 'human resources' and 'the last bagel'

Twists on the classic ‘I [heart]’ T-shirts use office supplies in place of the heart including staples, notes and paperwork.

There are even candles with such enticing scents as ‘human resources,’ ‘the last bagel’ and ‘clean whiteboard.’

The items are priced between $10 and $15, though there are postcards for just $5.

‘If your last good memory is that time free bagels were left in the break room, we feel for you,’ says Heather Berko, manager of advertising and content at JetBlue.

‘These Office Souvenirs are just our way of reminding everyone there are blue skies and fresh air waiting to provide much happier memories.’

According to creative director Julia Neumann, the spreadsheet towel and the mug reading ‘let’s circle back on that’ are both among the top sellers.

‘As for the creative team, we all have lot of love for the Printer Snow Globe because it was one of the very first ideas we came up with that brought this idea to life. We still think it’s funny,’ she said.
