Jetstar traveller yells abuse at passengers on Bali flight

A passenger could be banned from flying with Jetstar after they hurled shocking abuse at flight attendants and fellow travellers on a plane from Sydney to Bali.

A group was refused entry to the Indonesian holiday island after a confrontation on board flight JQ37 was caught on camera on Monday night.

Video shows the passenger shout obscenities at another traveller before appearing to shove crew members.

Though it is unclear what started the confrontation, it appears to have begun after an incident that was not filmed.

‘You know what, f*** your family mate and f*** you. I’m trying to apologise and you’re throwing it back in my face,’ a woman is heard yelling at another passenger.

‘I said I’m sorry. I can’t go ahead and change his actions. I’m sorry for what he’s done. I’m very sorry.’

Later the woman appears to push members of the flight crew and yells: ‘Get off, get the f*** off. What are you doing to me?’

A man then interjects: ‘Leave her alone. Don’t f***ing touch me. Leave her alone!’

The incident is being investigated and the passengers involved have been banned in the interim from flying with Jetstar.

A spokeswoman for the airline said a passenger on board the flight became aggressive towards the crew, ‘making the flight uncomfortable and unpleasant for other passengers’.
