Jimmy Carr cuts a casual figure as he pushes son Rockefeller in a buggy – after secretly welcoming tot with partner Karoline Copping in 2019

He secretly welcomed a son called Rockefeller with partner partner Karoline Copping back in 2019.

And Jimmy Carr looked every inch the doting dad on Friday as he took his boy out for a low-key stroll in his buggy in North London.

The comedian, 50, cut a casual figure in a blue T-shirt and navy trousers as he walked along the street while occasionally checking on his son.

Jimmy added a pair of black and white slip-on shoes to his look and hooked a pair of sunglasses on his top, while jackets were seen under the buggy should the weather change.

The comedy star, who’s usual jet-black hair had a red tinge, looked in good spirits as he spent quality time with his child while getting some fresh air.

Jimmy was first pictured pushing a pram back in March 2020 in North London where he lives with partner of 20 years Karoline.

The star finally confirmed they were parents in September 2021 when he mentioned his son during a stand-up comedy show at the O2 Academy Brixton.

In an interview with Radio Times last October, Jimmy said his son’s moniker was inspired by the American business magnate John D. Rockefeller – ‘though also with a hint of Chris Rock, the greatest ever comedian’.

Talking about fatherhood, Jimmy said: ‘It could be a bit of a gear shift, because of the kind of comedy I do.

Jimmy confirmed he is now a dad during a stand-up comedy show at the O2 Academy Brixton in September 2021.

According to The Sun, the funnyman mentioned his son during an adoption joke, telling the audience: ‘I had to tell my little boy he’s adopted. I mean, he isn’t, but the look on his face. I said, “No, no, no, you were adopted, the new family is picking you up tomorrow.”‘

In another joke, he said: ‘We’re having a gender-reveal party for our kid but we’re going to wait until he’s 21 just to be sure. With some babies you can’t tell, is it a boy or an ugly girl?’

‘But so far, I’m still telling the same jokes, I’ve got the same sense of humour. We’ll see, because I’m sure I’m going to be writing a lot of material about him. In fact, I think he might be tax-deductible.’

Jimmy’s quip to being tax-deductible was in reference to back in June 2012, when the comedian’s involvement in an alleged K2 tax avoidance scheme came to light after an investigation by The Times.

The comedian has been in a relationship with Channel 5 commissioning editor Karoline since 2001 after meeting her at an audition.

The pair have not previously spoken about whether they would have children together.
