The Yorkshire native sizzled in her plunging white blazer, which she went braless underneath to give a flash of her cleavage and plenty of smooth skin underneath.

Maintaining the suit’s classic style, Joanne then paired her saucy jacket with perfectly tailored white trousers, which skimmed her long and slender legs all the way down.

Only upping the glamour further, the actress accessorised with towering silver heels and opted to go without jewellery, to keep all eyes on her show-stopping ensemble.

The six-part drama looks at both sides of the story before revealing the truth of what happened.

In the most recent episode, viewers were left on the edge of their seats when Laura broke into her rival’s home to search for incriminating evidence.

The blonde told a TV critics’ meeting earlier this summer that she loved playing the kind-hearted Anna in Downton Abbey, but admitted: ‘It’s nice to play the baddie sometimes, too!’

She later explained to Deadline that she enjoyed playing real people with imperfections, after years as the same role on the ITV period drama.

‘I like to play flawed people,’ she said. ‘We’re all flawed to a greater or lesser degree and I always want to do things that are different from the things I’ve done. I loved Anna Bates, she was a lovely character to play for six years.’

Whether or not Laura ends up the bad girl in Liar remains to be seen, but Joanne did reveal her character makes questionable choices for the duration of the show.
