The Cloud 9 hair tools have long been revered for their effectiveness with a positive 4.5 out of five stars listed for the $339 device.

‘Would never use any other brand of straightener. Cloud nine are the best. Heat up quickly and glide through hair. Easy to straighten and curl,’ one loyal customer wrote online.

‘These straighteners are great, they are easy to use, have variable heat and heat up quickly. I have fine hair but lots of it and these are great for my hair type. I like that I can have a lower temperature than my old ones which were stuck on 210 degrees and burning my hair,’ said another.

Jordan’s secret weapon was the new Kerastase Chroma Absolu range which features a high shine treatment and heat protectant.

It works to protect Jodi’s natural locks and her Hair Talk Australia hair extensions.

Mr Crugnale recommends Kerastase’s Discipline range during these La Nina-spotted spring days to cope with humidity and frizz.

It is ‘like keratin in a bottle’ with 72-hour humidity protection.

‘Use a light hair spray like L’Oreal Professionnel Infinium which will help give your hair hold but is still workable so your locks aren’t like straw or sticky,’ he said.
