Joe Swash’s sister Shana is pregnant! Ex-EastEnders star reveals she is expecting her first baby

Joe Swash’s sister Shana took to social media on Friday to reveal that she is pregnant. 

The former EastEnders actress, 33, who played Demi Miller during her time on the BBC soap, wrote: ‘PENDING….BABY JONES 5TH DECEMBER 2023.’

In August 2021, Shana announced her engagement to her carpenter boyfriend Nick Jones – they are yet to tie the knot. 

Back then, she flashed her diamond engagement ring in a slew of images, as she sweetly held up her hand to show off the dazzling piece of jewellery. 

Detailing the proposal, Shana took to Instagram page to announce the news, sharing a snap of her holding up her hand as he kissed her cheek.

She also posted a second image of them kissing on the lips. 

A third image in the gallery saw Shana holding hand’s with her beau against the beachy backdrop, as the captioned the shots: ‘I SAID YES.’

Shana’s future sister-in-law Stacey Solomon, 33, was among the first to offer her congratulations, as she wrote: ‘Best news ever.’

Her sister Caisie penned: ‘My little sister is getting married!’

Shana’s announcement comes after she revealed she is embarking on a new business venture following her Albert Square days.

The former soap star has since opened a coffee stall with her beau called Swash & Jones Coffee co. in London’s Islington.

Shana is is best known for playing Demi Miller in the long-running BBC One soap opera EastEnders from 2004–2006. 

It was announced months previously that her part was to be cut along with that of her on-screen mother Rosie – despite calls for them to stay from fans. 

Shana’s engagement comes eight months after Joe and Stacey revealed he had popped the question during a romantic woodland walk.

Stacey and Joe, who are currently expecting their second child together, announced they were engaged on Christmas Eve last year.

The Loose Women panellist is seven months pregnant with her first daughter.
