Jogger brazenly raids mail box outside house and stuffs a parcel up his jumper before running off down the lane

This is the shocking moment a brazen jogger steals a parcel from a letter box and stuffs it up his top – before continuing with his run.
CCTV footage uploaded to social media shows the man looking behind him before approaching the house in Prestatyn, Wales and taking the package, leaving a pile of post behind him.
Ironically, the parcel contained a pair of £15 jogging trousers for homeowner Nick Gibbs’ son.
The thief casually jogs away from the house, at around 10.50am on Sunday morning, after taking the parcel.
Mr Gibbs said: ‘I only checked the footage when my son asked if his parcel had arrived.
‘I could see the package sticking out of the letter box so watched the footage in the hours that followed and was shocked to see a jogger clearly run up, check behind him before taking it out of the letter box and sticking it up his jumper, leaving the other contents of the mailbox on the floor.

He shoved the package under his top before going back to his run, a pile of letters left dumped behind him
‘I couldn’t believe the bare brazen cheek of him doing that in broad daylight when there are cameras all over the house.
‘I’m not taking the law into my own hands by any means but I wanted to share this footage to shame this person, if nothing else.
‘The post box had a lock on it but whoever posted the parcel left it sticking out so this was probably an opportunist thing.

After stealing the package, he went back to run, continuing jogging as if nothing had happened
‘I will now be investing in a bigger letter box.’
North Wales Police are investigating the theft.
A spokesman said: ‘We received reports from an address in Prestatyn about the theft of some items from a mailbox. Enquiries are ongoing.’
