Kings Cross identity John Ibrahim and his model partner Sarah Budge have welcomed their first child. 

A friend of the couple confirmed the news to The Daily Telegraph on Thursday, revealing they had decided to name their newborn son Elvis. 

‘They are both over the moon,’ the friend told the publication.

‘John has been at the hospital non-stop for the past two days and couldn’t be happier.’

The pair’s firstborn child is said to have arrived on Tuesday in an eastern suburbs hospital. 

Ibrahim, 53, already has two other children from different relationships. His second child Eliana, seven, is shared with his friend Skye Fuller. 

He and Ms Budge, 31, have been dating since 2015 after meeting when Ibrahim bought the Potts Point building where she operated a restaurant.

Ms Budge launched Crane Bar in May 2013, which is known for its Japanese fusion food, cocktails and music.

Earlier this year, she was devastated by the realisation her business would not recover from the pandemic shutdown, which hit Australia’s hospitality sector hard.

‘Sarah’s a bit heartbroken,’ a friend told Daily Mail Australia earlier this year.

‘She’s disheartened at the moment.’

Mr Ibrahim rose to become one of the most powerful figures in the Sydney nightclub scene by the age of 26 and his life will be turned into a TV series.

These days he manages real estate investments in Darlinghurst and the inner-city, having got out of the nightclub scene when the lockout laws came in.

Mr Ibrahim is often spotted spending time with his close pal and radio host Kyle Sandilands, who regularly speaks highly of their friendship on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. 

The radio show posted photos of Sarah showing off her blossoming baby bump just weeks ago on their Instagram page.

‘Kyle’s mate is still rocking the pregnancy look during lockdown!’ the team captioned the photo.

It’s unsurprising Ms Budge looked so radiant and photogenic in the shots, as she has also enjoyed a successful modelling career for years.  

After finishing school, she studied to be a make-up artist and worked part-time in night clubs in Sydney’s central business district.

Over the past decade, she featured in TV campaigns for Virgin Australia and in photo shoots for lingerie and swimwear brands.

She has been represented by leading agencies such as Scoop and Chic and scored a role promoting women’s fashion brand Rockmans.
