Jolene Dawson sacked over Big Brother rejection meltdown video

A transgender woman was cruelly sacked after sharing an ’embarrassing’ video of her tearful meltdown over being rejected from Big Brother.

Jolene Dawson, who has spent more than $200,000 on plastic surgery to look like a Bratz doll, worked at Golden Edge Marketing on the Gold Coast.

The rambling 11-minute video raged at TV producers for not picking her and instead opting for ‘generic people who everyone can relate to’.

Since it was posted to her YouTube channel on Friday, Jolene, 24, received dozens of abusive messages including death threats.

Then when she came into work on Tuesday she was hauled into a meeting with her boss and human resources.

‘My boss said to me, you need to decide if you want to have a corporate job or be an internet meme, but it’s too late for us,’ Jolene told Daily Mail Australia.

‘If our clients Google you, all this stuff is going to come up like you crying about not getting on Big Brother and it will be damaging to the business. You have a job so I don’t know why you need another.’

Golden Edge has since pulled down its website and disconnected its phone, and claimed Jolene’s video forced it to close.

‘Due to Jolene’s embarrassing YouTube videos we lost multiple clients and have temporarily closed down,’ director Angela Summors said.

‘Most clients [that left] said it was due to her videos.’

Jolene, who managed ads and social media and built websites for the firm’s small business clients, said her dismissal was unfair.

‘It’s ridiculous, am I not allowed to have a personal life?’ she said.

‘I’m worried because with how the economy is now it’s not like I can just go and get another job.’

Jolene in her video argued Big Brother should have broken the mould and cast her to present a transgender people in a normalised way.

‘They pick people who are generic and ordinary and don’t really bring anything to the show, you never see talented people,’ she said.

‘My community deserves to see a trans narrative on TV and I’m the perfect person to give that to Australia and show we’re real people.

‘When I was a kid I didn’t people like me to look up to, I want to be that person for someone else so they don’t have to feel the same way I did growing up.

‘Why am I not being given the opportunity to create a brighter future for (trans) people?’

Jolene repeatedly spruiked her TV experience which includes appearances on X-Factor and Trial By Kyle.

She also appeared on US plastic surgery reality show Botched in December where she was talked out of getting a seventh nose job.

‘I never audition for shows (they approach me)… they should be lucky I even auditioned, shows like that don’t even pay well,’ she said.

‘Why would they not want to pick me, I make good TV… I’m the full f**king package and those people know that.

‘No one else in this country can do what I can do, there’s no reason I shouldn’t be in that house. It’s upsetting and it’s ridiculous.

‘What am i supposed to do I’ve done everything… do I go work at Cotton On or something?

‘Should I just give up on everything, live a private little life and keep to myself?’

‘I wish I could cut you f**king throat ear to ear u sick f**k. F**k u disgusting mutt of a f**king thing,’ one read.

‘Nobody wants to see a tranny on the TV. Do your family a favour and cut (your wrists) vertically,’ another read.

Jolene said she understood why some people were irked by her emotional video but she stood by making it.

‘We all have feelings and I’m never going to apologise for having them,’ she said.

‘People should be less insecure or watch something else. They need to get a grip and get a life.’

The young transgender woman said she transitioned from male to female at the age of 19

Born a boy named Joseph, she transitioned to female aged 19 but it has not been a smooth road as she chased after fame.

She explained in November how she fell into the grips of sex addiction while trying to find interesting material for her YouTube.

‘I started to feel the pressure to have more stories, so I began hunting for new interesting sex stories for my channel,’ she told Daily Mail Australia at the time.

‘I thought more sex meant more story times, which meant more money and more followers.

‘After about three months into it, I was having sex sometimes 10 times a day and it was no longer about making content, it was about having a lot of sex.

‘It began impacting my work, I just wouldn’t go to work at all so I could have sex.’

But the 24-year-old - who transitioned from male to female at the age of 19 - said the 'pressure' to find 'new and interesting sex stories' for her channel quickly escalated

Jolene estimated she slept with about 90 men in just six months, sometime having sex with four men a night.

She only broke her addiction by being celibate indefinitely, after she began to worry about contracting an STD.

Jolene first made headlines in early 2017 after she revealed she had forked out tens of thousands of dollars on plastic surgery to look like a Bratz doll.

She underwent 15 procedures, including two breast augmentations, six rhinoplasties, forehead fillers, her ears pinned back, jaw slimming and removing her belly button so she could be ‘less human’.

‘I’ve spent roughly $150,000 on plastic surgery to look like a Bratz doll and another $60,000 on reversing the work that was unnecessary,’ she said.

In December she appeared on Botched and stunned Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif when she asked them to give her two breast implants on her head and a seventh nose job.

‘The implants on the top of my head and a smaller nose will definitely get me a little close to my goal of looking like a doll,’ she said.

‘I definitely prefer men with eight figures and ten inches.’

The doctors had her take two cotton swabs and push her nostrils together to show what her dream nose would look like, then asked her to breathe.

Jolene struggled to breathe for 30 seconds and was convinced not to go through with the procedure.

Dr Nassif also stressed that it would be a mistake for her to get implants in her head, pointing out that she could possibly lose her hair or worse.

‘Don’t be a pioneer testing the limits of surgery that could kill you,’ Dr Dubrow said.
