Radio star Jonathan Brown is ‘struck down with Covid’ as NOVA and Smooth FM studios in Melbourne are shut down for deep cleaning and staff told to get tested
Former AFL player turned radio star Jonathan Brown has reportedly been ‘struck down with Covid’, after attending a bar opening in Melbourne last week.
The 40-year-old and his colleagues Chrissie Swan and Sam Pang did not broadcast their breakfast show live on Friday.
Instead a pre-recorded episode aired in their place, the Herald Sun reported.

Both the Nova and stable mate Smooth FM were shut down for deep cleaning after the station’s program director Peter Clay called on-air talent to get tested on Thursday night.
A spokesperson for the radio station told the publication: ‘We take the health, safety and privacy of all our staff very seriously.
‘We will continue to abide by and follow all current state government health advice and directions to maintain a safe workplace for all our employees.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Jonathan’s management for comment. His condition is not yet known.
Jonathan was last seen publicly with his wife Kylie, along a slew of famous faces who attended the opening of Bar Bambi on November 12.
Among those who attended were Bec Judd and her husband Chris, Tayla Damir and her fiancé Nathan Broad, Andy Lee and his girlfriend Rebecca Harding.
