Gemma Collins’ close pal Jonathan Cheban has joked the star eats so much she has to be carried out of restaurants, despite her recent three stone weight loss.

In a new interview, Foodgod, 45, insisted the TOWIE personality, 38, ‘triple orders’ when they catch up during their fun-filled outings.

The successful food blogger – who forged a friendship with the reality star after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 – claimed: ‘She eats so much that I have to carry her out.’

‘I order the food and then she triple orders after me. She’s the reorderer and that’s the difference’, the socialite shared to new! magazine.

Jonathan added: ‘I’ll order the first round of amazing stuff and then she’ll be like “Can we have three more of those?” I’m like “What are you doing? We can’t eat any more!” And she’s like “Just bring them.”‘

His comments echo his recent interview with MailOnline, where he cheekily said: ‘I just put weight on people, I like to fluff them up – ask Gemma!’

Earlier this month, the Dancing On Ice star revealed she only eats two meals a day and that she ‘doesn’t know why she is overweight’.

The TV personality gave a breakdown of her daily eating habits and insisted that she ‘doesn’t eat a lot’.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘I actually don’t know why I am overweight because I don’t eat a lot. My downfall is that I eat late of a night. I can go all day without food. I normally get hungry at two o’clock in the afternoon.

‘I am night owl. Basically I will just start eating from two o’clock in the afternoon. I have never been a breakfast girl.

Gemma added: ‘I don’t really drink, if I do I like a nice drop. I do like the odd Malibu and pineapple.’

The GC added she makes her own curry for dinner with a salad and just a spoonful of rice, opting for watermelon slices as a dessert.

Just last week, Gemma revealed on Good Morning Britain that she had gained a stone during her recent holiday after overindulging – despite recently losing three stone with the help of jabs.

She has been blazing the promo trail for her new show Diva Forever, which follows the ins and outs of her dramatic daily life as well as her weight battle and James Argent romance.

After recently shedding a whopping three stone, the blonde beauty hit headlines when she revealed she was using controversial jabs to help her weight loss.

The SkinnyJab website boasts that the jabs ‘regulate the glucose level in your blood, allowing your body to use your stored fat for energy’.

This means that you can safely consume small portions without experiencing the undesired effects of starvation mode.’

In June, when news of her use of the appetite-suppressing, £250 diet aids came to light, it was claimed by registered nutritionist Rhiannon Lambert that they were ‘risky’ and ‘physically dangerous’.

Speaking about the weight gain, Gemma explained: ‘[The jabs are] fantastic. I lost two stone but I’m not going to lie. I’ve put a bit on as I’ve been on holiday for weeks and weeks. I’ve over indulged a bit…

‘These things do work. I was taking the jab every day and it worked. I suffer for Polycistic Ovary syndrome so I’ve always been prone to gaining weight because I have more insulin in my body.’
