Jordyn Woods is slammed for promoting a weight-loss program

Plus-size model and Kylie Jenner’s best pal Jordyn Woods is under heavy fire for promoting a weight-loss program as fans claim that it suggests she no longer embraces her natural curves.

After posting a video to Instagram promoting a seven-day supplement plan to lose weight, the 20-year-old is getting a ton of backlash as people are mad that she is sponsoring the product without trying it first.

Fans are also mad because they think she no longer accepts her body that made her into a plus-size model as well as a voice for other women with curves and are taking to her Instagram to bash her.

Kylie Jenner’s BFF posted the video yesterday and it has since accumulated over a million views and over 800 comments with most of them being mean to her.

In the video which is sponsored by Boom Bod, the plus-size model explains what she will be doing.

‘So I normally never do this but because I’m taking you along with me on my fitness journey I wanted to let you know about this Boom Bod seven day achiever that I’m going to actually start tomorrow because I’m going back to the gym.

‘It basically just comes with these packets for the week and you take one in your water 30 minutes before each meal.

‘Each one is supposed to help your appetite give you a little boost. The morning has vitamin C, the afternoon has B12 and the night time has biotin.

‘It’s just supposed to help you overall with your energy and to help guide whatever your journey is with your weight.

‘So I’m going to try this Boom Bod challenge and tag me in yours if you decide to try it because I would love to see how it works for you guys.’

Mean: She’s been bombarded with comments with some people saying they’re disappointed with her because she’s supposed to be a role model for other plus-size girls

Since posting the seemingly innocent video she has been bombarded with horrible comments from people saying how disappointing this is because she’s supposed to be a role model for other plus-size girls.

One user went so far to say, ‘Disappointing post. You are famed for being curvy, a role model and an example that you can still be beautiful without promoting unrealistic body types…’

‘It’s interesting that you talk about how you are proud to be a model who isn’t a size two but you promote losing weight to so many young girls that look up to you,’ wrote someone else.

‘What! You fight to be you and not like the skinny girl and you do that? Really? I trusted you before I’m so shocked,’ shared one very upset fan while someone else wrote, ‘I remember when you was chubby and sexy af.’

Another person said, ‘She is showing a bad image and making people feel bad and think they are overweight and need to lose pounds when they aren’t in need of weight-loss.’

In reply to that user’s comment, someone stuck up for her saying, ‘I agree only to an extent…but as she states this is a “fitness journey” not to just get skinny. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be healthy.’

One angry fan commented, ‘For real? Stop trying to make people feel bad about themselves. Why should we lose weight? To be more pretty? Pretty for who? Stop it you’re such a shame.’

While many people bashed her for trying to lose weight, others called her out on promoting a product before even trying it.

‘Why promote them if you haven’t tried it yet. It would make sense if you promoted it after results,’ shared one person.

‘She’s getting paid to promote it and asking people to tag her when they try it. Basically just another celeb trying to make cash by promoting s**t they haven’t and probably won’t even try themselves,’ another user wrote.

Despite all the horrible comments there were some people that took her side and only had positive things to say to her with one user writing, ‘Wait you look amazing.’

Another person even said, ‘Remember not everyone who works out is trying to remain skinny. She might just want to get to her target weight and remain healthy!’
