Jose Mourinho’s Man United away record v Big Six is AWFUL

Manchester United are still without a Premier League away win against a fellow member of the Big Six since Jose Mourinho became manager last year.

Sunday’s 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge was the seventh time Mourinho’s United have played away to either Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham or Liverpool.

In those seven games, United have scored only once and claimed just three points.

Six days later, Mourinho returned to Stamford Bridge 10 months after being sacked by Chelsea. His plans were ruined by a goal from Pedro inside the first 30 seconds of what turned out to be a thrashing.

United actually had the lion’s share of possession in this game but were toothless with the ball and completely blown away without it as Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante all scored.
